Collar canvas
Hi all,
For my ladies jacket, I have purchased the Dugdale Bros coat pack and have received about 17 cm of collar canvas, cut on the straight grain. I thought I had cut the collar canvas correctly, according to instructions, but as you can see below, the two bias cut pieces of canvas are quite a bit shorter than the collar pattern and look to be shorter than the ones in the video.
Dugdale's say that 15 cm of canvas is the amount recommended by the HTA.
Does anyone have this same issue?
The top and bottom sides of my canvas pieces are about 5.5 and 10 inches long.

Hi Saskia,
I haven't seen the women's coat videos, but I would cut the canvas in "lozenge shapes" and have the seam running diagonally -- this lets you get two larger pieces. (This is what is shown in the men's coat videos.)
