Waistcoat Fitting Help

Hello all, wow looks like I'm the first post in this forum.

I'm doing my first trouser and waistcoat fittings separately. I basically know what to do with the trousers. I might make the waistcoat 1" longer or so, although I'm not sure if it's better to add that length by taking it out at the shoulder seam, or just letting out some of the inlay in the hem? My main question is how to alter the centerback waist because I have a pretty extreme swayback posture, and I know I am about to run into the same issue when I try to fit the jacket I'm working on. Is this simply a matter of bringing it in more in the center back seam at the waist? Any suggestions or advice?

Thanks for the advice again. So after the fitting, I got a little excited and moved right on to ripping and remarking before seeing your reply. I think that the front edges are probably fine at the neck, but I decided to take them in 1/4". I dropped the shoulder point on my right shoulder 1/4" total, but left my left shoulder as is.

Anyways, we'll see how it turns out once I sew it up. I'm feeling good about the fit, but I'm sure I'll have some small changes to make for the next one I make.

One question. When you say square the shoulders, does that refer to my shoulder slope, or the curve of the armhole? If I were to square them 1/4" like you were saying, where would I make that change?
