The Trousers

hi Rory and all, i notice that sometimes when I draft double pleated trousers, the second pleat always end up too close to the side seam, leaving me no choice but to do an inseam side pocket. I was just wondering if you could add an extra few cm from the back side seam to the front side seam. If so, how many cm would you say the max is? Thank you
