Unfamiliar with unit of measurement!

Hi Rory & everyone.

So I'm starting with Men's Bespoke Trouser Making series video. I got some problems as I may list below and hope if anyone can help or have some advices.

  1. I'm having a problem with following what Rory is speaking in the videos. Without the subtitles, I can only understand 30-40% of what he is saying since im not familiar with the accent. ( I'm not an English native speaker ).

  2. I'm having a problem of using "Inches" instead of "Centimeter".

So my question is:

  1. Does anyone have any tips or subtitles of what he is saying ? Or how to understand better?

  2. Can I change all the inches to centimeter and apply it for myself ? For reference I have a 34" (86cm) waist, 38" (96cm) seat, 39.7" (101cm) sideseam, and 27.9" (71) inseam, hem width 7.4" (19cm), 14.1" (36cm) knee.

  3. So can I tranfer all of the above measurements of myself and apply Rory's draft formula and change it all to centimeter and make a trousers drafting pattern for myself ?

Sorry if my explaination is hard to understand

&

Thanks in advance!

There is no issue in using cm over inches. The drafts will work out the same.
