Squaring out the two lines on the trouser draft
Hey Rory/everyone,
I've tried to draft this pattern now about three times, both from the PDF and from the video. The PDF is marginally easier to follow, but is a bit unclear on the measures.
The video starts with squaring out two lines. What are the measures for these lines? Am I being stupid? If you're squaring them they should be equal, right?
I've just done a draft and its waist is 13", if that's on the half it's wrong and if it's on the quarter it's wrong.
Any ideas?

Thanks for that. that's actually exactly what I did for the squaring out, 12" vertical and horizontal. The darts is a good shout, though.
