Thoughts on Green box tailors chalk?
Hello everybody.
I noticed in Rory Duffy's old Coat making series that he used this chalk:
I was thinking about getting this chalk for a while but first wanted to see what those on the forum who used it before (particularly Rory Duffy because of his experience with the chalk) thought of it. My main question is if the chalk brushes off well on most fabrics; the description I found for it was somewhat vague.

David is right. Don't press it in. I don't recall using this chalk, but it is possible. It's probably all that was available in NYC.
I do think clay chalk is better. Never use press out chalk, it doesn't press out.
