If you want to save on cloth that's the best system. Otherwise its a shot in the dark. Around 2 yards for a coat, 1 3/4 yards for a trouser and 3/4 for a waistcoat. 4.5 yards for a suit round 42 - 44 4m up to 40 4.25m 40 -42 4.75m 44-46 5m 47 and over.
