I found this blog by a pattern designer and semi-hobbyist tailor. Rory himself even makes a cameo at some point.

I’ve read the whole thing and there’s a lot of wonderful in-detail breakdowns of tailoring workflow and deconstructions of wonderfully handmade garments that provided some great insight.
