Yes I did, I've got a few lingering issues that I am finding difficult to resolve, I wonder if you might have any ideas. There is a curl of cloth at the bottom of the pocket mouth on both sides. I tried letting out the back trouser by 1/2 inch but it did not fix the issue. I was thinking of re - cutting a new top side trouser and adding 1/2 inch more hip shape at the level of the bottom of the pocket mouth instead. It seems like the trouser outseam is being pulled toward the front trouser. Your thoughts?

I took the sleeves off and sewed them by hand. I also added a strip of body canvass to add an extra layer as the cloth is very light weight and turned out much better.

I have not yet worked on this issue. I've been giving this a lot thought, I wonder if I did not shrink the excess fullness enough before sewing the sleeve in. But I must say there is not much flexibility with this cloth, its really difficult to shrink.

Robbie/Lee, Thank you for your comments. I am using an industrial machine with a size 14 needle. Is this the correct sizing? Should I use a thicker needle? Either way I'm going to remove both sleeves and maybe try to shrink the linen/wool cloth a bit more and backstitch by hand.

Thank you Gerry, This makes all very good sense. I've got more work to do. I may try and scoop out at the CBS and see if it helps pull up all the vertical excess cloth at the back. Tailoring is hard...

Hi Gerry, The video is an excellent resource, thank you. I reduced the front fork by 1/4 in and the back fork by 1/2 inch. The front does look cleaner but still a lot of buckling at the back of the knees. I also tried pinching 1/2 inch (total 1 inch) at the fork line on the back and that seems to correct the buckling at the knees, although Im not sure how to translate that on the pattern. I would guess to lower the fork line by 1 inch and take off 1 inch from the top waist would do the trick. Your thoughts? pin out at the back fork.

I wonder if I fit into the category of a flat seat figuration and maybe letting out the centre back seam a bit would help too. Thank you for your suggestions. Paul

Thank you for responding Robbie. I am more concerned about the back pocket position. There are instructions on the second page of the trouser draft although it does not mention how close the pocket should be from the side seam. If the trousers are little big on the pocket baste, taking in the trousers may draw the back pockets to close to the side seam and look very off I suppose .
