Hi Sabrina (sorry I didn’t get a notification on this post) Good job on setting this up. I have my trouser package so good to go. As you can see from my Forum question “Trouser draft drop” I have done my draft but my seat to waist drop is quite large and I still need confirmation on what to do at pt 25. Do you have any ideas on that?

Update No2 So I have redrafted to see if i had messed up. Seems like 24-25 has got ****** for me which is good. The seat has now worked out at 2 1/2" over which is good. Still not sure what to do with the waist. I need to reduce the under draft by 7/8" So I have just pulled Pt 25 in toward 23 by 7/8" and then I have put the hip curve on it to curve it in. I have used the same curve as the top draft. I think it looks ok. But comments welcome

Follow up question: I thought I had it in relation to the front dart. My 1/4 Waist is 8 1/16", my A to pt 11 is 9 3/16" So my dart is supposed to be 1 1/8". However, on the comment about smaller waists it says the maximum dart should be 7/8". Two more questions 1. Is a 32" waist a "smaller waist". What is classified as a "smaller waist" 2. Is 7/8" the maximum dart for all waists and should all dimensions over 7/8" be taken over to Pt 25 on the under side?

So to be clear if the shoulder angel is 2 1/4" on the tool then from the point 22 you measure down 2 1/4" to get point 23 and take that out to pt 24 giving you the back shoulder angle between pt 22 and 24? Do you have to change Pt 14?? ie pt 12 to pt 13 also?? On Rory's draft pt 22 to pt 23 is 2 1/2" but pt 12 to pt 13 is 2 3/4" if the Perkins tool says 2 1/4" which is for the Back shoulder angle should I always take off 1/4" for the front shoulder angle too ie 2 1/2" Also does any one have an idea about the measurements on the Incline Device, See the top photo. the measurements go from 1" to 5" I see that they relate to the posture but I dont know what that means when drafting the pattern? Hi Rory I'm a bit confused! I am trying to re-draw the sleeve pattern as I thought I got it wrong somehow and that is why my sleeve head is not long enough. I have gone back to the pattern making episode 1. For the dimension 0 to 4 you measure the circumference of the arm hole. Your circumference was about 21" without the two Seam Allowances at the shoulder but includes the 2x Seam Allowances between the forepart and the side body. I would have thought that the final armhole would have been 21" minus 2x 3/8" Seam Allowances = 20 1/4". Somehow when the body is formed up in Episode 36 you measure around the arm hole and it is 22 1/2". I don't understand how that has happened?? Also I dont understand how with your measurement of 21" circumference in Episode 1 and you want about 1 1/2" fullness that should be about 22 1/2" so I dont understand how you ended up with sleeve tops measuring 23 3/8" in Episode 36? Sorry for the detail but it's quite confusing for me Thanks Ken

Hi Rory. Thanks for the response which was not unexpected sadly. I’ll order some new cloth. While I wait I’ll redraft the sleeve patterns to see where I went wrong. Do I need to adjust the armholes any as yours seemed to be 3/4” ****** than mine?
