This is a fun and interesting post. I've been thinking a lot about leg figuration since starting the trousers making video series. I've self diagnosed closed legs. I agree with your assessment of the legs at G7. Perhaps the man second from left has prominent calves and the trousers are just a shade too narrow? Gosh Mr Johnson is wearing an ill fitting suit I suspect his figure is stout or corpulent. I think that his waistband is too small so it's pushed down towards his hips which are probably narrower than his waist causing the ugly excessive break at his shin. I wonder if a larger waistband and braces, as well as cutting for closed legs (knock kneed), would help.

I’ve been pouring over the trouser making videos and the Dugdale Bros website and, with the help of you and Jeremy, I think I’ve identified the products as T5344 38mm waistband with 19mm carrier T5248 light weight soft knitted fusible I hope this helps and it would still be really useful to have Rory’s confirmation or otherwise. @jeremymarkbarnett Thank you for your generous offer. I would be very happy to pay the postage. In the episode which deals with constructing the waistband Rory says the pack was intended to contain 60 inches of waistbanding. @jeremymarkbarnett According to the trouser video episode 2 the linen in the trouser pack is for the option of making brace top trousers. My guess, as a total novice, is that it's used to stiffen the fishtails.

@jeremymarkbarnett Do you happen to still have the card swing tags with the stock numbers on them? It looks like most of the stuff in the pack had them with T prefix numbers.

Hi Jeremy Thank you for the reply. This was my initial thought so I checked the DB website and can confirm that fusible and waist banding are not listed as being included in the trouser pack so I'm pretty sure that I have received all the items that I have paid for. I have an idea that a standard weight soft interfacing would do the job but I'd like to make sure I get the most appropriate materials for the course. Kind regards G
