I'm working a this 8oz wool/linen blend coat and noticed after pulling the basting stiches that there are bite marks at the top of both crowns. Any ideas?
There are no pleats and the seam looked very straight on the inside.

I took the sleeves off and sewed them by hand. I also added a strip of body canvass to add an extra layer as the cloth is very light weight and turned out much better.
