    Padding the lapel

    Hello everyone, my name is Martin and I work my way through the tutorials. The front pieces of my coat are canvased and I have padded the lapels. They are rolling nice around the break line . What purpose has the selisia between the canvas and the outer fabric, just stability?

    Makes it easier to pad the lapels on light weight fabric.

    It's spelled "silesia." I assume it originally was made in this region of Europe.
