So I started a suit jacket before the series went up by myself, only because I had no one to help but now that I do I'm having problems with the arm hole. I don't know how to fix it, can anyone help? For some reason the fabric is like bunching up around the arm hole. Bear in mind this is like my first time so its not the best. IDK what to do.
Are you talking about fixing the armhole to prevent it stretching out? I have seen a variety of methods used. Personally, I fuse 12mm straight-tape around the entire armscye before I join the shoulder seams (ie. while the coat is still 'flat'). Some people simply sew a machine stitch inside the final seam (maybe 3mm inside the seam), or they sew a reinforcing linen/cotton tape along this area. If you have already joined the shoulder seams, you can probably just baste a tape inside the coat along the entire seam. I don't think it matters hugely so long as the reinforcing material cannot stretch out.
