THATS INTERESTING thank you - I will try that. I get either too much or too little with a paint brush, and obviously over-spray is an issue with a spray bottle, ill try this.
Honestly you will not regret it - the single biggest improvement you can make to your tailoring game is to get a decent iron. Here is Rory in an earlier video using the exact same iron - he uses a paintbrush to apply water, I prefer a spray bottle. Thanks so much for this video, Lee. Rory uses paint brush - interesting. Where I studied in Seattle, where tailor Stanley Hostek used to teach tailoring, the students still make a dauber, like Stanley used. Here is a video about how to make one.

I used a dauber on Savile Row. When I arrived in New York, I found a paint brush and milk pot in the kitchen and used it instead.
