Born and raised in the Netherlands, living in Germany since 25+ years. Sewing since 2012, from fitted shirts and waistcoats to baby shoes and flat caps.

Self-employed IT consultant and project lead.

Now (slowly!) expanding and/or shifting my business to making bespoke garments for people.

I am also a "stay-at-home-dad" of a girl (3) and a boy (1), and husband to a wif, who unfortunately also wants to use the sewing machines. (Apart from that, I love her...really!)

To keep me sane, I can be found at the dojo regularly, practicing "the Art of becoming One with the Mat, by having Yourself thrown on It, whilst enjoying the Pain" - "Aikido" in short 😉
