NEW SHEARS OR ELECTRIC ROTARY CUTTER...?
I dropped and broke my vintage 13" fabric shears :-(
I have an astonishing pair of 10" pointed shears for fine work, but the loss of these will be great for me. Only they were never good at cutting very thick fabric [20oz +]. I have often wondered if I would be better with an electric rotary fabric cutter as I work with heavy cloth a lot? does anyone have experience? Would I be better off buying a €100 pair of 12" shears of a €100 rotary cutter to supplement my 10" fine point shears?

You could probably pick up a pair of decent bench shears on ebay and have them sharpened.
