A non-saville row sewing project
Myself and my wife were at a medieval reenactment event on Sunday. I made this entire outfit (the tunic, trousers, belt, pouch, and overboots) plus a dress and a belt for my wife, in just three days.
The shoes, belts, and pouch were my first attempt ever at leatherwork.
To make the trousers, I started off with a vague document outlining the construction of early medieval trousers but filled in the blanks by using what I have learnt from Rory’s videos.
